Sales Associate
Part-Time Seasonal Position | Wellington, Florida | January–March 2027
The In Gate is seeking a personable and knowledgeable Sales Associate to join our team in Wellington during the 2027 Winter Equestrian Festival season.
The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, understands the equestrian community, and takes pride in providing attentive, highly personalized service. This position will support our Wellington retail operations and represent The In Gate's distinctive approach to luxury equestrian retail.
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming clients and helping them select products suited to their individual needs
- Providing knowledgeable, attentive service in person and through client follow-up
- Processing sales and assisting with point-of-sale operations
- Maintaining polished, well-organized merchandise displays
- Receiving, replenishing, and organizing inventory
- Supporting special events and other day-to-day retail needs
The ideal candidate will have:
- Prior retail, hospitality, or client-service experience
- Familiarity with horses, equestrian sport, or the Wellington community
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent attention to detail and a polished, professional presence
- The ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Availability during the winter equestrian season, including weekends and select horse-show hours
Luxury retail or equestrian sales experience is preferred but not required.
Operations Associate
Part-Time Position | Chester County, Pennsylvania
The In Gate is seeking a dependable and highly organized Operations Associate to support our e-commerce, inventory, and horse-show operations in Chester County.
This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys creating order behind the scenes and understands that thoughtful presentation, accuracy, and timely fulfillment are essential parts of an exceptional client experience.
Responsibilities include:
- Picking, packing, and preparing online orders for shipment
- Receiving deliveries and verifying incoming merchandise
- Organizing, labeling, and maintaining inventory
- Assisting with inventory counts and stock reconciliation
- Preparing merchandise and supplies for horse shows and pop-up events
- Processing returns and exchanges
- Helping maintain an efficient, orderly workspace
- Providing additional operational support as needed
The ideal candidate will have:
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail
- A dependable, proactive, and flexible approach to work
- The ability to manage tasks independently and follow established procedures
- Comfort using computers and learning e-commerce and inventory systems
- The physical ability to receive, move, and organize merchandise
- Reliable transportation
- An interest in retail, fashion, or the equestrian industry
Previous experience with Shopify, order fulfillment, inventory management, or equestrian products is helpful but not required.
Internships
We also offer internship opportunities for students and early-career candidates interested in learning more about equestrian retail, e-commerce, marketing, and event operations.
On the Show Circuit — Wellington, Florida & Traveling Shows
- Marketing & Social Media — Content creation, campaign support, and brand storytelling across Instagram, TikTok, and email
- Event & Show Support — On-the-ground support at equestrian shows and pop-up retail events
Chester County, Pennsylvania
- Merchandising & Buying — Assist with product curation, vendor relationships, and inventory planning
- E-Commerce & Operations — Support day-to-day online store operations, order management, and the client experience
