The Coronation Collection brings together The In Gate’s approach to fine equestrian tack: exceptional materials, refined proportions, and traditional English craftsmanship. Every piece is designed by The In Gate and handmade in England by our English bridlemaker.
Our aniline leather begins with carefully selected European hides. Because aniline finishing leaves the natural grain and character of the hide visible rather than concealing imperfections beneath an opaque pigmented surface, it requires exceptionally high-grade full- or top-grain hides from the start. Only a small percentage of the hides evaluated meet the standard required for our collection. Our leather is finished in Walsall, England, a center of English saddlery and leatherworking for generations.
That exceptional leather is then shaped into tack defined by clean lines, carefully considered proportions, understated detailing, and skilled English construction, allowing the quality of the materials and the horse wearing them to take center stage.
From the Coronation Bridle and innovative Balmoral Bridle to the matching Standing Martingale, Crank Noseband, and Bit Keepers, each piece is designed to work individually or as part of a beautifully coordinated collection.
