The Barbour Arlene Checked Wax Jacket takes the Transport-inspired Arlene silhouette and renders it in a checked 6oz Sylkoil wax — the same waxed cotton Barbour has used for decades, now with a pattern that gives it more visual interest than a plain wax jacket without losing any of the practicality.

The raglan sleeves, ribbed cuffs, fixed throat tab, and bright brass hardware are all there. In Classic / Shadow Classic, it's a jacket that works as a standalone piece or as a layer, and like all waxed cotton, it only gets better with age.
